Stephen Bunting and Chris “Hollywood” Dobey are ready to face off for the title at the 25th Players Championship tournament. 🎯

The highly anticipated final will take place on Wednesday night, and both players are in top form as they compete for the trophy.

For Bunting, this marks his second consecutive final, following a narrow loss to Wessel Nijman in Tuesday’s final. Bunting fought hard throughout the tournament, securing wins over Danny van Trijp (6-4), Jamie Hughes (6-1), Jermaine Wattimena (6-3), Mike de Decker (6-4), and Connor Scutt (6-4). In the semifinals, he claimed an impressive 7-4 victory against Andrew Gilding. This will be Bunting’s fifth PDC final of the season. Earlier this year, he clinched the Masters title but has been unlucky in his Players Championship finals, losing all three so far.

Chris Dobey, on the other hand, has been having a more successful run in Players Championship finals. This will be his fifth final of the season, and he’s already won two of his four previous finals in 2024. In this tournament, Dobey dominated with a commanding 7-1 win over Daryl Gurney in the semifinals. His path to the final included wins against Nathan Rafferty (6-4), William O’Connor (6-2), Gabriel Clemens (6-2), Jeffrey de Graaf (6-5), and a thrilling 6-5 victory over Luke Littler.

With £125,000 in prize money on the line at each Players Championship event, the winner will take home a £15,000 check, adding even more excitement to this gripping final.
